Booking a rentable space on Spotz is as easy as:
1. Search
2. Book
3. Play
But what does that really mean, and what are the exact steps to booking a space on Spotz? In this blog we will break down the step by step instructions for booking, so you can book your first space on Spotz today!
1. Search

Starting out at our website’s homepage, click on the My Spotz option, which will bring you to the search page. Once you are on the search page, go ahead and enter the city you are searching for, the type of space, and the dates you would like. You can enter only one, or all of those options. For our example, we will be searching for a basketball court in Minneapolis, MN (Image 1).

Based on what you entered into the search fields, you will get a list of rentable spaces to choose from. We have chosen the Sportsville Community Center. Once you have found a space you are happy with and interested in, you can select the quick view and book option to book your time (Image 2). The booking process steps are all listed at the top of the page, so you can see the entire process at once.
2. Book
The first page of the booking process will show you the information about the space, including the amenities that the organization has listed for that space. Before checking out, you will be able to add any amenities you want to your booking.

The next step is choosing your schedule. You can decide whether to make a single or recurring booking, including which dates you would like (Image 3). Next, select the find and book time option, this will bring up the next screen which will allow you to choose the time that you want to use a space. As you add the time you want, you can see your cart total change. Your cart price will update automatically as you select the times you want to use a space. After you have chosen all of your times, select continue to book.

The booking page is where you can enter your information, which will auto-generate if you have a profile and are the supervisor of the event, and additional information about your booking such as the expected attendance. You can also choose which amenities you would like to add to your bookings such as bleachers or scoreboard. This information will also be automatically added to your cart, and the updated price will appear. Select continue to book (Image 4).
Next, you will enter your method of payment, and accept the terms of the booking. Once you select the “Book Rental” button you are done! A copy of the booking confirmation and terms will be sent to your email.
3. Play
